Hiya!

I’m typing in a state of great excitement here, because my new EP ‘Help Yourself Float’ comes out this week on the 28th March! If you’re reading this and you don’t have a copy yet, move your digital ass over to itunes and get one, or if you’re a traditional-gentleman-lover-of-CDs like me then go to the 360 store and get one there. It’s my best yet. You know it makes sense.

I did an EP pre-launch gig a few days ago at Sunderland Minster. The combination of getting hold of the new EP early coupled with getting pissed up in a really old church was too much for some, and several punters were seen later that night staggering around Sunderland looking both confused and a bit elated. There were TONS of people there, so I’m really chuffed with that.

I’ve been conspiring with the fine chaps the the label 360 degree music, and I’m doing some radio interviews in a few different parts of the UK to plug the new EP. There are also some reviews to come, so fingers crossed for that.

The gigs have been going great recently. There is a tendency for more listening and less chatting at my shows these days, which is seriously magical progress as far as I’m concerned. Just found out that I’m going to be playing Secret Garden Party this year too, I’m really excited about that.

Thanks, catch you soon.

My new EP  ’Help Yourself Float’ is out on the 28th March through 360 Degree Music www.360dgm.com . I’m playing a gig at Sunderland Minster to launch the CD on the 20th March. Feel free to come down and get a copy of the new EP before it officially comes out! It’s a really spectacular room, complete with stained glass windows and brilliant acoustics. The lovely people at the minster are even letting me set up a bar! Hopefully it should be a night to remember.

Support on the night comes from 4square, a fantastic modern folk quartet with members scattered all across the UK. I’ve managed to get them all together for this gig, expect folky fireworks and simultaneous violin playing and clog dancing! Yes, I am serious!

Tickets to the gig are £5 adv/£7 door. To book tickets, call me on 07971 011 732 or email me on paul@paulliddell.com . Thanks!

PL.

I’ve just heard that my song ‘Nowhere Rose’ has been selected by Noteborn music, an American publishing company, for their music library. This means that the song (from the Delphians EP) could be appearing on TV or Film anytime soon.
