The new album Milestones And Motorways has been getting some great reviews lately. Infact, nobody has said anything bad at all yet (touchwood, fingers crossed)! Here are some links to the two latest reviews.

I just found out that I’m going to be supporting Turin Brakes at The Source in Carlisle. It’s a really intimate gig for the band, and I’m chuffed to be doing the support slot. It helps that I’ve been a fan of the band for years too, I’m rather excited! Woohoo!

My track ‘Game Show Host’ from the new album has been played twice now by two different DJs at BBC Scotland – Iain Anderson and Roddy Hart. You can listen to the shows here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0152g1z#segments

. Apparently they liked the humorous CD cover liner notes about me being a control freak. It’s all true of course.

My song ‘Brighter Lights’ is going to be featured in a film called ‘About Her’. The film is currently under production, and is directed by BAFTA winning director Nigel Douglas. http://www.facebook.com/ethanjude?sk=info

I’m launching my new album ‘Milestones and Motorways’ at Sunderland Minster on the 1st April. I’d love for you to be there.

The CD will be available on the night, and I’ll be playing songs from the new album both solo and with a selection of my musically gifted accomplices. I’ll be playing some of my old stuff too.

The minster is a beautiful location for a gig. It has great acoustics and loads of atmosphere. There will also be a bar at the gig, so the booze hounds among you don’t have to worry about going without on a Friday night.

Tickets are £5, and are available by emailing paul@paulliddell.com or by calling/texting me on 07971011732.

I promise you that the new CD is a bundle of aural joy! Come along and hear some of the new tunes live.

Feel free to post this on your facebook/twitter or email this event page on to anyone you think would be up for coming out to see some good live music in a lovely setting. The more the merrier!

Thanks a lot!

Paul.
